Job Overview:

Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. (FSE) is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance activities at the Central Utility Plant located on the campus in Triangle Park, North Carolina. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of critical utility systems to support the research and operations of the NIH.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, for utility systems such as HVAC, chillers, boilers, and electrical distribution.

- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.

- Train and mentor maintenance staff on maintenance procedures, safety practices, and equipment operation.

- Manage maintenance work orders, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively to meet maintenance goals and objectives.

- Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project management teams to support equipment upgrades, repairs, and capital improvement projects.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reports.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Knowledge of utility plant systems, including HVAC, chillers, boilers, and electrical distribution.

- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Technical proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning software.

- Understanding of safety regulations, codes, and standards related to maintenance operations.
